GERONIMO STILTON Book 38: A FABUMOUSE SCHOOL ADVENTURE
Geronimo wakes up way too early. When he remembers why his alarm clock buzzed an hour before he normally gets up, he's panicky. He's been invited to speak at his nephew Benjamin's school for Career Day. Geronimo really wants Benjamin to be proud of him, but he has a huge problem. Even the idea of public speaking makes him sick with nervousness. Yet Geronimo is determined to overcome his stage fright and be intelligent and cool for Benjamin's sake.
Q: What could go wrong?
Geronimo's friends and family manage to make him even more anxious by telling him how much Benjamin admires him. Their many messages and visits make him so late that he runs out of his apartment without even eating breakfast. Geronimo gets to take the school bus with his nephew, which sounds like fun --- until the ride makes him carsick. When Geronimo gets to Benjamin's school, it brings back memories since Geronimo once was a student there himself. Unfortunately, they are unhappy memories, of a young girl mouse who competed constantly with Geronimo …and won every contest. His day is already off to a rocky start, but it really begins to go downhill when Benjamin's teacher asks Geronimo to take over for a little while. Will Geronimo manage to make Benjamin proud in spite of his many snafus?
As we Geronimo fans have come to expect, his latest adventure is laced with a ton of humor, and even more heart. In addition, readers learn interesting facts about geckos, mummies, a volcano experiment, how to make a great cheese fondue and a fabumouse grilled cheese sandwich, and much more.
