GERONIMO STILTON Book 26: THE MUMMY WITH NO NAME
Geronimo is cuddled up with a great book on a fall day when he gets a message from Professor Sandsnout, director of the Egyptian Mouseum. The professor needs Geronimo's help. Geronimo decides to take Benjamin along to the mouseum. When Geronimo picks up his nephew, his crush, Petunia Pretty Paws, asks him to take care of her annoying niece, Bugsy, for a week. What can Geronimo do? He says "yes," of course.
Geronimo takes Benjamin and Bugsy to the mouseum. Strangely it's deserted and full of creepy statues. Even worse is an old coffin labeled "The Mummy With No Name." Eeek. When he has a moment alone, Geronimo actually sees the mummy, which talks to him. EEEK.
Professor Sandsnout appears. He confides that The Mummy With No Name is scaring guests away from the mouseum. Professor Sandsnout has one clue: an ancient manuscript with the end missing. Before the group can start work on the mystery, the lights go out, they hear mysterious sounds and the manuscript vanishes!
As Geronimo and his fellow detectives try to unravel the mystery, they are in for many adventures and misadventures, including some time trapped in a coffin for poor Geronimo. Unfortunately, things get much worse for our hero before they start getting much better. There's even an ancient love story that Geronimo helps bring to a satisfying conclusion.
